Coronavirus: Update - 25th March 2020
Following the Prime Minister's broadcast to the nation on Monday evening, I wanted to update you as to what we are doing to ensure that, as near as possible, it's "business as usual" here at Denmaur Paper Media.
Outside and Inside Sales Executives
Whilst obviously our sales executives cannot currently visit you, the majority of both the Inside and Outside Sales teams are working from home with full access to our systems to provide information, guidance and, of course, to take your valued orders.
Our business continuity procedures have been actioned and are functioning as expected with all phones on divert to mobiles. Please continue to e-mail or call your local office / contacts as you would in normal circumstances. Obviously e-mail is preferable and then someone will call you back, but it's still 'good to talk' - particularly when working in isolation!
Back Office Functions - Finance, Credit Control, Sales Support, Marketing and Admin
All are safely working from home with full system access and again available via e-mail or diverted to mobiles from their usual numbers.
Samples and Dummies
This remains a business critical function and something that is not possible to do from anywhere other than our facility in Sittingbourne. We have reduced the staffing to one individual to protect his health and ensure compliance with social distancing guidelines. Our normal high standards of service are available for A4 samples and dummies, although dependent on workload and the couriers, we cannot guarantee a next day service.
Please place your requests through the normal route and we will deal with them as quickly as possible.
Warehouse and Logistics
We are a BRC certified company and as such have strictly audited procedures in place regarding handling, storage and distribution of our products. This mitigates the risk of any contamination of goods that are delivered to you via our warehouse.
We have further upgraded our health screening, protection, hygiene and social distancing throughout our operation to ensure our employees stay safe and well and operate within government guidelines - as well as protecting you, our customers.
To date our supply chain remains very robust with minimal impact from the virus, however some manufacturers are taking downtime due to lower order volumes and / or worker safety. Commercial freight continues to operate across borders from the countries where our supplying mills are located, and our stock levels remain strong.
All key suppliers have advised us of their own measures that have been put in place to protect them, their workforces and us, their customer.

We are aware that in these challenging and unprecedented times you may have had to change some of your working arrangements, and we would like to do everything we can to work with you to try and accommodate what you need.
