  • Paper is made from trees, a natural and renewable resource that absorbs atmospheric carbon dioxide - the absorbed carbon element of which, is retained in timber and timber derived products, including paper!

Paper is not the primary cause of deforestation. In fact you'll find that paper production accounts for less than 14% of the world's harvested timber.

Furthermore, virgin paper is usually produced from the top 1/3 of a tree, with the bottom 2/3 of the harvested tree demanded for end uses in construction, furniture and commercial timber.

Most of the virgin fibre paper products we use are made from certified sustainably managed forests, such as FSC and PEFC. Responsible timber and paper production ensures healthy and growing forests.

Paper can be recycled between 6-8 times. Even with coating and then ink applications, re-pulping used paper is both a commercially and energy efficient process.

And when recycled fibre comes to the end of its many lifecycles as paper product, it has commercial uses in agriculture and horticulture... making paper a truly circular product!
