    Denmaur News - September 2018

    A show, a dress and a swatch.

    The Print Show

Held between the 18 - 20th September at the NEC, the Show was well attended with a mixture of some familiar faces and new names visiting the Denmaur stand.

With the closure of IPEX and the cancellation of PrintWeek Live in March, the Print Show is the only UK national exhibition for commercial print for the next 12 months.

With a shade under 6,000 people attending the show, we had a particularly busy second and third day, engaging in several positive discussions and taking on a number of interesting enquiries. Print is far from dead!

    The 'Circular' Revive Dress

In May of this year, our Revive brand sponsored the Global Good Awards - an international initiative celebrating organisations, products and services that deliver real impacts in terms of social and environmental responsibility.

Karen Sutton, the founder and CEO of the Global Good Awards, wore a dress on the night of the Awards ceremony created from a selection of Revive paper grades that we provided especially. The dress was subsequently donated, by Karen, for the Binti charity auction event in July, and we were the winning bidder.

We promote Revive as the ideal product for the circular economy, in that it makes use of a recyclable resource - paper! On this occasion, its circularity worked in a slightly different way, landing back in our possession and now proudly on display in the head office reception.

    New Innovation Swatch

In September we launched the new Innovation Swatch. It is the second swatch produced under the new branding and promotes the Premium and Digital grades in brilliant detail.

    What makes it Innovative:

The Innovation range boasts an industry leading whiteness (171 CIE) with matching grades for offset sheet-fed (Premium) and digital applications.

The range is produced from locally sourced FSC certified birch-wood pulp, which gives Innovation its non-silvering property.

The Digital grade is HP Indigo certified and does not require a pre-coat application.

Both Innovation Premium and Innovation Digital are supplied a Carbon Balanced.
