PaperFoam® is an innovative biobased packaging material designed to provide high-quality product protection with a significantly reduced environmental impact.
Made primarily from industrial starch, natural fibres and water, PaperFoam® is formed using a patented injection-moulding process to create custom packaging solutions precisely shaped around the product.
Lightweight, stackable and nestable, it combines excellent product protection with fine detailing and a premium presentation. Suitable for a wide range of industries, PaperFoam® offers a sustainable alternative to traditional packaging materials for applications including consumer electronics, cosmetics, food and medical products.
PaperFoam® can be customised to complement the branding and presentation requirements of individual products. The injection-moulding process allows for fine details, while packaging can be produced in customised colours and designs. Embossing and debossing can also be incorporated to create distinctive branded finishes and tactile detail. This makes PaperFoam® particularly suited to premium packaging where presentation and sustainability are equally important.
PaperFoam® is manufactured using custom moulds designed specifically around the product being packaged. This allows highly precise shapes and excellent product fit, while the injection-moulding process enables fine details and complex design features. Embossing and debossing can be incorporated into the packaging, while the finished components are stackable and nestable for efficient storage and transportation. Custom colours and designs provide further flexibility for creating distinctive packaging solutions.
