Protect Gloss creates a striking, high-gloss surface that enhances printed colours, imagery and graphics, giving finished products a vibrant and luxurious appearance. Its smooth surface is particularly effective for high-impact imagery and premium brand communications, while the scuff-resistant properties help maintain the quality of the printed finish during regular handling.
Available in Thermal and Wet formats, Protect Gloss offers flexibility across different lamination processes. It is suitable for hot foil stamping, subject to testing, and can be combined with matt and silk spot coatings using radical UV-curing systems, also subject to testing. The film is glueable, with testing recommended to confirm suitability for the specific substrate and adhesive. The EVA hot-melt coating requires curing time after lamination, with the appropriate curing period dependent on the base material.
Ideal for premium printed products where a high-gloss, luxurious appearance needs to be combined with enhanced durability. Typical applications include book covers, brochures, catalogues, magazines, corporate literature, presentation materials, packaging, promotional materials and premium retail communications. Its compatibility with additional decorative finishing makes it suitable for high-impact applications requiring foil stamping or contrasting spot coatings.
