Temptation X Velvet is specifically developed for high-quality printed products that are designed for regular handling and everyday use. Its ultra-matt, soft-touch surface provides a premium tactile experience while maintaining excellent visual quality. The film offers optimum bonding to substrates used for digital printing and is particularly suitable for recto-verso (both-side) lamination. Its anti-blocking properties help maintain clean, consistent stacks after lamination.
Temptation X Velvet is available in Thermal and Digital formats and offers excellent compatibility with a range of additional finishing processes. It is suitable for hot foil stamping and spot coatings using radical UV-curing systems, subject to testing. Unlike some soft-touch films, it is designed to minimise ghosting effects following additional finishing. The film is also glueable, with testing recommended for the specific substrate and adhesive. The EVA hot-melt coating requires curing time following lamination, with the required curing period dependent on the base material.
Designed for premium printed products that are subject to frequent handling, Temptation X Velvet is ideal for applications where durability, tactile quality and a sophisticated appearance are important. Typical end-uses include book covers, premium brochures, catalogues, corporate literature, presentation materials, packaging, retail communications and high-end marketing materials. Its excellent recto-verso performance makes it particularly suitable for products requiring lamination on both sides.
