Sustainability in paper-fibre based products and services to the print, carton board and publishing sectors
Wood is a partially acrylic-coated, wood-structured, biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) lamination film designed to create a distinctive natural wood-effect texture.
Its tactile structured surface adds depth and character to printed materials while providing scuff resistance and good tear resistance.
The reverse side is coated with an EVA hot-melt adhesive for reliable lamination to a variety of substrates.
Available in Thermal and Wet formats, WOOD is ideal for creative print and premium finishing applications where a natural, textured appearance can help printed products stand out. The structured surface may affect subsequent processing, so pre-production testing is recommended for gluing, printing and hot foil stamping applications.

Wood creates a distinctive wood-effect textured surface that adds visual and tactile interest to printed materials. The structured finish can enhance premium graphics and create a natural, contemporary appearance. Printability is possible in principle, although the textured surface can make subsequent print processes more challenging. Pre-production testing is recommended to establish the most suitable conditions for the intended application.
Available in Thermal and Wet formats, Wood provides flexibility across different lamination processes. Its structured surface can be suitable for gluing and hot foil stamping, but the texture may make these processes more demanding than with smooth films. Testing is recommended before production to confirm suitability for the specific substrate, adhesive and finishing process. The EVA hot-melt coating requires curing time following lamination, with the appropriate curing period dependent on the base material.
Ideal for creative and premium print applications where a natural, tactile finish can add visual differentiation and perceived value. Typical applications include luxury packaging, premium brochures, book covers, presentation materials, corporate literature, promotional materials, retail communications and specialist printed products. The wood-effect finish is particularly suitable for brands and products seeking a natural, organic or contemporary aesthetic.
