Denmaur operations: We operate a dual approach to our carbon policy - reduction and offsetting.
Our on-going carbon reduction programme now sits within our audited ISO 14001 environmental management system as well as the SBTi framework where we have officially registered our near term and Net Zero targets.
Our carbon footprint is measured annually, and third party verified to enable us to offset our operational emissions through the World Land Trust's Carbon Balanced Paper scheme.

Denmaur Independent Papers is embracing a sustainable future with our SBTi-validated commitment to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 46% by 2030 and reach Net Zero no later than 2045.
Customer Scope 3: Providing relevant indirect carbon emission figures is an essential requirement for Net Zero reporting.
The aggregated paper production carbon emissions are reducing year on year, achieved through efficiency improvements and the implementation of decarbonisation programmes and environmental legislation.
We are able to deliver production and upstream transport emissions of our products to enable customers and end users to map their carbon reduction and net Zero journey.

Carbon Balanced Paper: a valid means for offsetting the production emissions of paper and board, Carbon Balanced Paper supports the activities of the World Land Trust (WLT).
Carbon Balanced Paper enables customers and end users to convey a powerful sustainability message through their printed media, supported by a WLT Carbon Balanced Paper logo for artwork and a WLT certificate to endorse the amount of carbon offset through your choice paper or board.
Some products within Denmaur's stock portfolio are Carbon Balanced at Source - i.e. the mill of manufacture funds the cost of offsetting. Otherwise, any paper and board products purchased from Denmaur can be Carbon Balanced.
