New stock products and Denmaur enters the cartonboard arena
New Stock Products
To coincide with the launch of our carton board division, we are pleased to announce the addition of three new products to the Denmaur stock range
Supera White
A competitive and high bulking triplex GC1 folding box board suitable for a wide range of end use applications, from pharmaceutical and cosmetics to high end product packaging. Exclusively stocked by the Denmaur group in a range of sizes and in weights from 208 - 340g/m², with the 340g/m² measuring a considerable 633 microns in thickness. Supera White is FSC® certified and Carbon Balanced, which enable the use of the respected World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Paper logo on printed products.
Supera
The high bulking GC2 equivalent from the same mill, but manufactured OBA free to broaden its end use applications to include direct food contact packaging. Supera is also FSC® certified and Carbon Balanced, and it is available for next day delivery in a wide range of weights and sizes.
Klafold
A high stiffness natural coated kraft board that is ideally positioned to meet the growing demand for packaging solutions to replace single use plastics. A double-wall paperboard with superior stiffness, Klafold is supported by an impressive array of certifications, including FSC® and ISO 22000 that certifies it for food packaging. Other end use applications include point-of-sale displays and printed packaging for consumer goods.
Another exclusive stock product for the Denmaur group, Klafold is available in sheets from 276 - 360g/m².
Denmaur enters the carton board arena
Denmaur Paper Media is delighted to announce the launch of their carton board division after an agreement reached with Townsend Board. Their appointment also comes with the addition of three new stock lines for the group.
Clive and Michael Townsend join the Denmaur group with an established customer base and a remit to develop the sales whilst working closely with Denmaur's Print and Media divisions. Clive Townsend commented, 'We have known Denmaur for many years, both as a customer and as a supplier. Discussions about this arrangement were at an advanced stage just as the pandemic took hold, but I am pleased to confirm that we are now officially with one of the most sustainable paper and board merchants in the UK'.
Denmaur Paper Media operates a BRC certified storage and distribution service from a 130,000 sq ft site in Bardon. A Carbon Balanced company, Denmaur is also known for being the home for the Revive recycled range and the Delipac food and drinks packaging grades.
An established name in both commercial print and publishing, Denmaur launch their board division at an interesting time. Andy Buxton added, 'Sustainable food and pharmaceutical packaging has a greater importance now than ever before as society adapts to the 'new normal'. Along with Delipac and our new products, a new division with expertise in this area will enable us to respond to the demand for packaging that demonstrates social and environmental awareness.'
The Townsend Board name will continue to operate as a trading division of the Denmaur group from September 1st.
