Paul Cooper takes on 4,000-mile fundraiser for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance

Denmaur Group's Paul Cooper launches a year-long 4,000-mile walking/cycling fundraiser for independent charity the Air Ambulance Charity.

Last year's Christmas Stationers lunch was a memorable occasion for everyone, but particularly Denmaur's Paul Cooper.

During the event, he accepted a mammoth 4,000-mile walking/cycling challenge for 2023, which also happens to be Denmaur's 40th anniversary year.

The very next day, Paul confirmed he would use the challenge to raise funds for the Air Ambulance Charity Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS).

    The Charity

It costs more than £15.2million a year to sustain the world-leading innovative service offered by independent charity KSS.

Amazingly, 86% of that financial support is raised and donated by the people of Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

Money raised by Paul this year will help KSS to continue to provide support at the worst of times for their patients and remain at the forefront of pre-hospital critical care.

    The Challenge

Paul began his 4,000-mile challenge in January, and has already walked more than 191 miles and cycled over 640 miles.

He aims to reach the magic 4,000-mile target before the next Stationers' Christmas lunch in December.

His Denmaur colleagues have sponsored his efforts, and we would like to encourage everyone to donate whatever they can via Paul's JustGiving page.

Watch this space for updates on Paul's progress throughout our anniversary year as he hits the road in all weathers.
